Services
I offer individual teletherapy throughout Maryland, with a focus on anxiety, self-doubt, self-esteem, boundaries, people-pleasing, identity, and other challenges that can make it harder to feel comfortable being yourself.
What I Often Help With
Art Therapy
Sometimes a different way of working can help.
Art-making can give you something to look at, interact with, or experiment with when talking alone isn't quite getting you where you want to go. We might use it to explore a difficult experience, see a familiar pattern differently, work through a decision, or try out a new perspective.
Art therapy is available, but it isn't required.
Therapy with me doesn't have to involve art. When it feels useful, we may incorporate art-making as another way to explore thoughts, emotions, or experiences. You don't need to be “good at art” to try art therapy, and you don’t have to choose between “art therapy” and “regular therapy.”
Art can be one part of the work alongside conversation, reflection, and other therapeutic approaches. Check out the FAQs for some more info on art therapy, or reach out if you have a question.
What to Expect
Have a question or ready to meet? You can schedule a free consultation directly through my online scheduler. If you’d prefer, you can email, text, or call me to set up a consultation phone call. There’s no need to write a long explanation. You can let me know if you have a question, a topic that’s really important, or something you’re hoping for in a therapist, and we can go from there.
Reach Out
The free consultation is a chance to talk briefly about what’s bringing you to therapy, ask questions, and get a feel for what working together might be like. If it seems like a good fit, I'll walk you through scheduling your first appointment, how to use the client portal, and what appointments look like.
2. Have a Conversation
You don't need to come to your first session with everything figured out. We'll talk about what's been going on, what you'd like to be different, and what might be helpful. From there, we'll build your therapy around you, including which approaches make sense for what you're working on.
